A belated post

Firstly, happy birthday to Nat for, well, more than a week ago now. His birthday was on the 7th, so, yep, very much belated... He got crowns, I think, with which he has bought (so far, as I am aware) swiftshadow wings, an earth walker, and he was planning on getting the Overlord set, I think...

Next, and I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but, erm, I'm on holiday, or vacation, or whatever, in France, and I've been here for about three days now. And I was so busy packing and such before we were going I forgot to mention it, so now I'm using a laptop with a really bad connection and annoyingly laggy typing to quickly make this post before the wi-fi card runs out (don't ask, it's a really strange system)...

As nice as France is, though, this unfortunately means I have no Wizard101 time (partly because of the bad connection but mostly because this computer doesn't have it installed) and therefore very little to post about. That is, if I was able to post, because this connection is really really (darn-it-just-went-again-now-I-have-to-wait-until-I-get-more-signal-argh!) bad, and I don't know if we can get another wi-fi card when this runs out...

Anyway, I have to wrap this up pretty quickly, so...

Another posting... uh, gap?

Well, what can I say? My internet connection's still patchy, so I haven't had much 'online-time' recently... Yet again. On the bright side, my dad and I changed the router frequency/channel/whatever so it should be better now, and hopefully the connection in my room will stay up.

Anyway, so, earlier today, I did Crimson Fields. I have done that dungeon more times than I can count. Well, actually I can count it. Four times, I think. The first time was on Blaze Thundershard II. I don't know if I've explained what happened with my characters yet... have I? I will anyway. To start with, almost a year ago, I had Wolf Shadowblade, a diviner who got to level 8 before I really wanted a subscription. My parents didn't want to pay out for two at first so I decided I'd just make a character on my brother's account. This I did, and Blaze Thundershard I, diviner, was born. I got him to level 12. Then Nat and I kept arguing about who could play when - because we couldn't play at the same time - and after a host of "You have been logged out because your account has been logged in elsewhere" messages, irritated arguments, and a lot of yelling, my parents caved in and bought another subscription.

Blaze Thundershard II was born and Wolf Shadowblade was deleted. He got to level 21, but he was still in the Pyramid of the Sun. I was lost in a sea of sidequests, from Wizard City, Krokotopia, and ended up doing half a questline in the Krokosphinx when I ported to a friend. In the end I started Alexandra Stormrider, and - here I am today.

Anyway, Crimson Fields. Yes, I did that as a level 8 on Blaze Thundershard II, with a little level 1 necromancer. I watched him talking to a Master in the Commons and asking to go to the Crimson Fields. Eventually the Master gave in and little death noob asked if I wanted to come with him. I said YEA! and off we went... We defeated the first boss, him leveling to level 6 amazingly fast, and then we both got caught in separate street mob battles. We fled at the same time and that was that.

The second time was when I ported to a friend who was rerunning it for XP. That was still with Blaze Thundershard II. Then I did it again with Alex, when Nat was doing it for the first time. And then I did it today! I'm absolutely sick to death of it now, and have no intention of EVER going near it again, but on the bright side...

34!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT DING YEA! (no screenshot... aww)

*ahem* Well, I'm already halfway to 35 after helping Nat with Shiritaki Temple. I've decided that I'm gonna go back and finish all my Tomb of Storms sidequests or even work on Grizzleheim before I keep on going into Shoshun Village. I need the hat. Also, I got a few FANTASTIC drops. Two master storm robes, and one awesome 35+ robe! Just what I needed. And I have a wand I need to use as well. 35 is so exciting!

Also, part four will probably be posted in the next post. Or I could preview it..? Nope, keep you all on your toes...

And the Pet Derby is awesome. I have to say, Rocky is awesome on that Marleybone track, oh yeah he is!

Go storm hound!

Anyway, unless I finish Part 4 soon-ish, then...

Timmy the Happy Mander

Hello, people who aren't actually reading this (if you are, which means you are either me or Nat or rare, hi too)!

I want you to say hi to a special friend of mine:

Timmy the Happy Mander!

Here he is:

Timmy helped me, Nat, and of course, our friend John (who's balance, that's how we met Timmy) do Counterweight East, which was fun. Here's Timmy casting Elemental Shield:

Who's a clever mander?

Anyway, that is more or less all for today. I'm going away for a few days, so don't expect much from me unless I finish Krok tonight... Unlikely... SIGH.

/Sniffle

Bye...

A very proud moment, as I leveled into 26 I got into the four digit health zone! YAY!

VICTORY IS MINE!!!!! MUAHAHAHA!

Guess what? I am soooooo happy right now! WOOT!

Here I am...

Where am I? SUNKEN CITY! Yes, I finally managed to pluck up the courage to attempt the fateful dungeon... With Nat... It is awesome! Lovely random Wraith statue... I've never got that far before... And I beat Grubb! This is a huge achievement for me. I'm a bit rubbish...

So, guess what I get?

and how could I forget...

Lol, I almost did - you can see it fading away...

Anyway, I'm so happy! Here's me at my very proudest:

Take that, Professor Drake! I PROVED YOU WRONG!!!!!!!!

Anyway, that's about all... Yeah, so, see ya!

Bit of a let down, perhaps?

Oh, come on, Nat! Everyone already knows that. Groan... Have you never been to Central? Are there no threads on this? Please. Gosh, seriously, Nat, you're slower than me and my three Professor Drakes thing... Also, everyone knows that the death minion spell is called Animate. Ugh...

Ok, that was mean... Sorry Nat. You weren't to know.

Anyway, in other news, I can't defeat Grumish Greataxe! Even with my lovely minion I die... Sigh. What shall I do? Wait... NAT!!!!!!! HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picture of the day:

This happened when I was in my dorm room and my friend... I can't remember who it was now, but they had a heckhound and they ported to me, and when they ported away their heckhound stayed... Not just for a while, but for ages! Wagging its tail and howling and stuff!

Goodbye Pyramid of the Sun, Hello Krokosphinx

GUESS WHAT?

I'm out of the Pyramid of the Sun! In Krokosphinx Island! I have the picture of me on the boat to prove it!

Yay! The boat ride is awesome! And the Junior Archaeologist badge! Lol, I used to want to be an archaeologist when I grew up. And if you're wondering where I got that hat, it was a drop... From...

KROKOPATRA HERSELF!

The Queen of Krokotopia (so to speak) gave me an AWESOME hat! Yay again! I was helping Nat, so, yes, he is now in Marleybone. He dinged 28 in the Tomb, just after the Test of Aptitude. Lol, he didn't get it, I had to help. But we did it!

Okay, I know getting into the next area isn't as big as getting into MARLEYBONE, which I consider the world of AWESOME, but I'm still pretty glad. The Palace of Fire is sooooooo dull. And he's already nearly level 29. Darn it, I just hit 21.

Lol, the voices in Krokotopia may be weird, but Nat and I cracked up when we heard the 'English' Marleybone voices. XD

Anyway, I ported to him straight away (naturally) and decided to have some fun running around Regent's Square. Then he showed me the housing shop, and I previewed the Royal Estate. I WANT IT! I WANT IT! I WANT IT! I'm saving up for it. I have about 16,000 gold. And I WANT IT! But I'll have to wait. Sigh... Then again, the Storm house is awesome, and the Myth, and Life, and Ice, and... y'know.

Hmmm... I think everything will be harder from here on in, because I haven't done any of this before. Well, not properly, just helping Nat with a few bosses. So, yeah... ... ... ... ... ...

I WANT A ROYAL ESTATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See ya in the Spiral! (Well, probably not. But y'know...)

Picture of the day:

Nat and I just before the Krokopatra battle! He would like to inform you that he has since updated his outfit. Lol.
